It involves light touch techniques to assess and treat restrictions in the body’s tissues, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. When the Craniosacral Fascial system is loose and open there is free flow of cerebrospinal fluid to help nourish and cleanse toxins. This can help relax the nervous system.

Therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs of students in the school setting. Bilingual (English/Spanish) speech and language evaluations available.

  • Safe and Sound Protocol

Tune in. Calm down. Connect better.

The Safe and Sound Protocol is a research-based listening therapy designed to help regulate the nervous system—so kids (and grownups!) can feel safer in their bodies, more connected with others, and more ready to learn, speak, eat, and grow.

Developed by neuroscientist Dr. Stephen Porges, SSP uses specially filtered music to gently train the auditory system and support nervous system regulation from the inside out. It’s like a workout for your vagus nerve—with playlists.

Whether you’re navigating speech delays, anxiety, picky eating, or just trying to help your child (or yourself) feel less reactive and more regulated, SSP is a powerful tool to get the brain and body back on speaking terms.

  • Primitive Reflex Integration

Primitive reflexes are the body's original movement patterns that help babies grow, move, and interact with the world in their early months. But sometimes, these reflexes stick around longer than they should—causing challenges with coordination, focus, emotions, and even speech or feeding.

At Two Lips for Talking, we assess and support the integration of retained primitive reflexes through gentle, play-based movement activities. This helps your child’s brain and body work together more efficiently—building the foundation for better regulation, learning, and communication.

Because when the nervous system is aligned, everything else clicks into place.
